Washington Democrats and their traditional labor union allies are cheering President Joe Biden’s firing of the National Labor Relations Board’s (NLRB) General Counsel even though Peter Robb’s four-year term had nine months left. House Education and Labor Committee Chairman Bobby Scott praised Biden, saying in a statement issued Wednesday shortly after Robb declined a request from the White House Office of Personnel to resign and was fired. “It has taken just one day for President Joe Biden to deliver his first major victory for American workers.
